The detail-oriented among you might have noticed than in recent weeks, after almost two whole years of just hanging out there doing nothing, there’s finally been some activity in that video panel in the upper-right corner of the home page. Yes indeed, it’s the latest in our ongoing campaign to find ways of filling the gaps in Tim’s increasingly-erratic review schedule – we have a YouTube channel now! And with that, Alternate Ending proudly catches up to the film internet of 2010.
Right now, it’s home to (mostly) weekly chats between Rob and Carrie about new wide releases, while Tim sits forlornly on the sidelines. But as we get our feet underneath us, we’re going to try to branch out into more in-depth video essays and analysis, so we can get caught up to the film internet of 2011. A big thanks to our Patreon subscribers who are helping to make that happen, and a big winking, passive-aggressive suggestion that it might happen even faster if that number of subscribers goes up.
Speaking of subscribing to things, we have a little enticement to anybody who follows us on YouTube. For every 100 subscribers, we’re going to randomly select one person to fine a free Amazon movie rental. And if the chance to win free stuff isn’t enough, there’s always Rob being a fine chunk of man-candy to keep you interested.
And Tim is for sure going to start writing reviews again regularly. One of these days. Eventually. At some point.
