A bit under the weather at the moment, and I can’t convince myself to dedicate the energy to writing. But just so you don’t feel too deprived, some Film Threat reviews from the past few weeks:
“The Pill” – The road to Hell is paved with good intentions and mismatched eyelines.
“Kite Runner” – As we all know, I like pretty things even when especially if they don’t make much sense. Watch me put the official imprimatur of a real publication on just such a review!
“An Open Door” – You can see the end of this 19-minute film coming from about 20 minutes away. Yay for Chicago filmmakers!
And while I’m on the subject, a couple of weeks ago I live-blogged the complete works of Meir Zarchi with a friend, and plenty of alcohol. It’s pretty inside baseball, but here you go.
