Long-time podcast listeners know that we’re creatures of habit. Yes, we’ve mixed a few things up over the years like, video-podcast episodes *gasp* and we used to have 3 WORTH MENTIONINGS *double gasp*… but as you know now, we’re mostly creatures of habit and curmudgeons to change.
We heard your feedback in the survey we put out several months back, so we know you love the Top 5’s, we know you love the worth mentioning segment (slightly less than the Top 5’s, but love them nevertheless). We know a lot of you enjoy the spoiler episodes and what we were amused to find out, is how much you love the Patreon Exclusive – Pick the Flicks! We also know that you don’t love interviews but that you’re proud of us for doing them… so, thanks for that. We heard other (more complicated to solve) feedback like “duplicate Tim” and “I just want more of what you’re already doing,” that while challenging, is something we’re going to work towards.
SO…
Starting next week Tim, Rob and I will be going back to weekly episodes!
We’ll have 2 episodes a month for our traditional TOP 5’s. THEN! We’re launching a new episode: PASS THE POPCORN, 2 episodes a month dedicated to something a little different: what we’ve been watching, life’s ponderings, spoiler alerts, a random question from you, thoughts on a particular movie and a chance to bring in guests to elevate the conversation.
We also heard your feedback that you love Brennan (would couldn’t, really?) and so, we’ve solved for that too, but more to come in October. Lest you were worried, Brennan will also continue to be our Gamemaster for Movie Trivia night, because I’m confident that nobody else in the world could take on that task.
We’re super excited to give you the “more” you’re looking for and more importantly, we can’t wait until Tim’s clone is complete.
