The Jungle Book

In Disney’s film of The Jungle Book, there is a scene in which King Louie the orangutan witnesses in terror as one of the pillars supporting his palace in a ruined temple is knocked out. He rushes over to stand in the pillar’s spot, holding the entire weight of the palace on the palms of his hands. A moment later, the whole ruin has collapsed, leaving King Louie holding only a single small piece of masonry; but damned if he’s going to let that last little bit fall.

Currently, my life is a bit like that scene. I will publish Monday’s Sunday classic review tonight, and God alone knows what the next two or three days will bring, but I’m hoping it’s three or four reviews. Your patience is appreciated.
