This caught me…not by surprise, but certainly I wouldn’t have guessed.
Chief Justice William Rehnquist is dead.
I dont really have a reaction to it, not yet…after the Roberts nomination, I’m not enough of a damn fool to speculate on his replacement, although I can’t imagine there exists a qualified candidate whom I would disagree with on more topics than Rehnquist. I just thought it deserved notice.
