I knew that I absolutely needed to see A Sound of Thunder.
But, to my immense disappointment, it’s not playing in Evanston (to give some frame of reference here, The Cave is entering its second week at the Century 12). If I want to see it, I’m going to have to trek over to Old Orchard mall in Skokie. I do not yet know if this will prove to be a tenable course of action. The great Bad Movies are few and far between, and this one looks like a keeper; I’d hate to miss out on what is doubtlessly an historic theatrical run.
