The Lucky One

It’s been, like, solidly three days since the last blog series that made me profoundly unhappy ended. And what with it still being a slow time for releases that I feel compelled to shell out $8 to see and thus content for the hungry maw of Antagony & Ecstasy being at a bit of a premium, I am pleased, or sort of pleased-ish, or at least not actively angry to announce a new seven-film experience for us all to share:

SPARKS NOTES

A semiweekly series in which I aim to review the films based upon the work of novelist Nicholas Sparks, in tandem with reading his books, through what I anticipate shall be an increasingly thick haze of alcohol.

The fun starts tonight, and runs until the release of The Lucky One, starring Troy Bolton, Dagny Taggart, and the death rattle of Blythe Danner’s self-respect.
