Having exhausted all* of the important European zombie franchises in years past, it’s time to return to the shores of the U.S. of A. and the evergreen series that gave rise to one of the most iconic bits of zombie lore of them all. If you know, just absolutely know in your heart, that zombies crave human brains, then you must stop to thank the 1985 horror-comedy The Return of the Living Dead and its sequels; and as chance would have it, that’s just what we’re going to do every Saturday this month, starting later today.
