Update: 20/24, including the semi-surprising Foreign Film win, the very surprising (even to me) Animated Short win, and a whole lot of things that everyone saw coming. So it’s not, I think, that I did well, but that the awards were boring and predictable. Still, my second-best year since I started predicting every category (best was 21/24 in 2004, the only year I’ve ever gotten all of the Big 8).
