The Online Film Critics Society has announced our winners for the best films of 2009, right here. They are, if you’ve been following the critics’ awards at all, mostly boring and routine, except maybe Jeremy Renner as Best Actor; which I don’t “agree” with, but we had such a lousy slate of nominations in that category that he was actually my number 1 vote… but I don’t think I’m supposed to say that sort of thing.
Anyway, my colleagues seemed to have loved the hell out of The Hurt Locker, like everybody else but me.
