Every month we’re greeted by new movies and bid farewell to old ones on our various streaming services. Here are 5 movies I’m most excited to watch or watch again on Amazon Prime or Netflix along with a full list below. Which ones are must-see for you?
1. Tropic Thunder: I’ve only seen it once in theaters and thinking about it still cracks me up.
2. Kubo and the Two Strings: High on Tim’s list from 2017, it is a movie Carrie and I have yet to see, so will make it a priority to see if it is worthy of his praise.
3. The Prestige: This is one of my favorite movies combining magicians, science, Christopher Nolan, Christian Bale and Hugh Jackman in a nice little package…what’s not to like?
4. The Handmaiden: While not submitted for contention to the Oscars, this movie may have walked away with a few awards. I’m excited to see what all the fuss was about.
5. American Honey: I’m a Shia Lebouf fan despite his antics, so seeing him in what appears to be a very raw coming of age meets modern gypsy flick is extremely appealing.
