What feels like a million years ago when we decided to join the forces of Antagony and Ecstasy and Alternate Ending, we mapped out all of our most important priorities. Despite our differences, you might be surprised to know that the core of what we value most was exactly the same: community.
I guess after all of these years, I can’t even remember what the other priorities were.
Providing a community where everybody feels comfortable sharing their opinions, engaging in constructive dialogue and a home to let your “cinephile-flag-fly” is what success looks like to us. What’s more, the best part of our little corner of the film world is that you have organically supported our goals, by just being good people.
Another element of that we’ve been trying to solve for is, creating a space for engagement beyond whatever review Tim has most recently posted or the newest podcast topic. We needed a place to talk about Brad Pitt’s butt, when he played that guy…and he had long hair, but with little whispies that were coming down the side… and there was a loin cloth and maybe he was a gladiator? I can’t think of the name… but I bet you could. But, seriously, his butt in that movie was really something.
This in my long-winded way of saying – WE’RE LAUNCHING DISCORD!
It’s very easy to use and very free – which were both prerequisites for the 2/3’s of us that are frugal and tech challenged.
