GRASSROOTS ACTIVISM

Because some things are more important than the war in Iraq, Scalito, equal rights for gays and lesbians, a woman’s right to choose, and governmental accountability.*

Arrested Development is on its last legs, although the C-word hasn’t been officially used yet. And I know that a lot of the readers of this blog are fans of the show, so I wanted to gather as many resources as I could find for anyone who wants to help fight the good fight and keep it on the air if we possibly can. I think that I am not alone in feeling that Monday night’s episode (the lowest-rated of the season) represented a high for the series, and it would be shameful for the show to die as it was ramping up to get even better.

There is a petition.

On the chief AD message boards, people are beginning to discuss writing HBO, NBC and UPN. Details when I have them.

And from the PTC, of all people, a list of advertisers. I don’t presently know who is advertising on AD, but a good place to start might be with Burger King. What a great restaurant!

UPDATE, 2:33 PM: Jason speaks.
