I must say, a fella puts out a call to action and you, my wonderful readers, do not disappoint. Seven weeks into the blog’s fundraiser, and we’re already up to $771, with seven full months yet to go.
Instead of setting another target which you’ll just demolish in no time, I’m going to leave it open-ended: let’s just raise as much money for the fight against cancer as possible. $1000? $1500? The sky, methinks, is the limit.
And, since it’s the start of a month, I want to do some housekeeping. If you’ve donated, please go to the main fundraiser page, and check to make sure that your name is on the list. If not (or if it is, and you’d rather be anonymous), comment here and e-mail me, and I’ll double-check my records. I’m still trying to figure out a way to verify that everybody donated the amount they think they did without a) being inefficient, and c) telling the whole wide world how much everybody donated right on the pages of this blog. But as stated elsewhere, it’s incredibly important to me that this remains transparent.
