Coming later today, the first in what I hope shall be a weekly series: a list of ten films, or people in films, or moments in films, or in some respect a list of things culled from the world of cinema. Sometimes it will be a conventional, ranked Top 10; sometimes (like today), just a collection of ten things around a single idea. It’s something I’ve thought about doing for a year or more now, but I always feel a bit ashamed of my listmaking urge: but to hell with it. It’s fun to make lists, and if I’m going to do it all of the time in the privacy of my home, I might as well do it in front of the whole world.
